Discover the World's announce new direct flight to Kiruna

And as the world’s leading Swedish Icehotel specialist, Discover the World are pleased to announce that we have combined forces with SAS to offer the UK’s first direct flight to the town of Kiruna, just 40 minutes from the Icehotel, Jukkasjärvi.

Sas_plane_3 The direct flights will commence in December 2007 and continue on specific dates through until April 2008, operating in combination with the indirect flight via Stockholm. Not only will the client experience a superior personal service, where a Discover the World representative will accompany each flight, the timings also allow for a less strenuous flying experience.

As opposed to checking in at 5am, the direct flight check-in time will be 0835 at London Heathrow (for a 10.35 departure) landing in Kiruna 3.5 hours later at 15.05 local time. Passengers on the direct flight will also be given a complimentary meal, wine, beer and soft drinks (these are not included in the price via Stockholm). All in all, this will only enhance what will be a snowy experience of a lifetime.

Lacking inspiration? Need a great and totally unique destination to write about? Already written Iceland_3 about most of Europe...if you could only think of a destination that will inspire your readers?

Why not take a look at our Iceland & Greenland dedicated, year-round, brochure.

Here's a taste of Iceland: Featuring arguably the greatest variety of stunning scenery and unspoilt wilderness of any European destination, Iceland has dazzling landscapes ranging from surreal to sublime. The dramatic landscapes, born from volcanic eruptions and carved out by glaciers, are made up of colours which defy description; imagine rust-red craters, cobalt-blue lakes and luminous green moss interspersed with black sandy beaches.

Our Greenland holidays encompass voyages as well as (summer & winter) land-based holidays to West & East Greenland which include hiking itineraries, Sled dog experiences and even 2/3 day extensions from Reykjavik to experience the inuit culture of East Greenland.

Combined with our our ability to tailor-make almost any holiday in the land of fire & ice and to a great extent Greenland, Discover the World can provide the essential holiday experience no matter which country is on your on your readerships' wish list.
